The Swapper caught me completely by surprise. I wasn't too enthused by it - until I actually played it. It's turned out to be one of my favourite games of this year. The Swapper is a puzzle-platformer where you use your ability to create and inhabit clones to solve the many puzzles. The rules of each puzzle are simple and consistent, but that doesn't make them easy. If you follow the guide exactly, you could finish the game in around three hours. If you decide to work out the puzzles yourselves (and I would advise doing so, they're great fun), it will take a bit longer.

As such I've given it a generous ten hours maximum completion time. All of the achievements in this game are missable, and none are story related. All the achievements require finding the hidden terminals spread throughout the game. The final achievement will unlock approximately ten to fifteen minutes before you complete the game, and I fully recommend you complete the game for the experience. With that, let's get started.

Head to the final unexplored area in the small satellite. This puzzle is quick and should only take four steps. Start by walking to the gravity control, turning upside down and spawn a clone as close to the orb as possible. Next, turn around, spawn another clone on the gravity control and swap to it so you're facing rightside up. Third, swap jump passed the next gravity control and run all the way through the red light.

Finally, swap places with the clone above you and retrieve the orb.Now backtrack to the console that requires 48 orbs to release the first solar panel.Detaching the Second Solar Panel Continue past the solar panel and get to the next puzzle (see screen below). For this puzzle, you will need to begin by placing a clone directly above the orb. Next, step on the gravity control and spawn a clone directly on the orb, facing upside-down. Hit the gravity control again so you're standing right-side up and swap to the clone above the orb. Hop off the platform so you're standing directly across from the small gap and swap to retrieve the orb. This next puzzle only requires one clone; again, see the map for the particular room.

Start by placing a clone on the ledge directly above you and then invert gravity. Now push the block so that it is level with the orb.

Venture towns map. Have both clones grab their respective blocks until they're near the orb. Have both get on top of their block, and while jumping swap as soon as you're out of the red light.

Take a step off the block to retrieve the orb. This next puzzle brings the pressure pads back, and although it seems rather simple, it's actually quite a pain. Start by getting as close to the gravity inverter as possible.

Place a clone at the top right pressure plate as far to the right as possible. This will lower the first column.

Now, place a clone as far left as possible where that column used to be. Step left to invert yourself. Now, place a clone just to the right of the bottom right pressure plate, do this so that way as you walk left, as the first clone is stepping off his pressure plate, this clone will be stepping on its and allowing the second column to go down so you can progress. As soon as the clone walking through the columns is clear of the second, place a clone on the bottom left pressure plate. This will lift the third column. Now, walk all the way to the left to get your clones to reunite at the top left upside down (do not jump). Now you should have one clone at the third column standing right-side up and two clones upside down, one of the bottom left pressure plate and the other directly above the top left pressure plate.

From here, spawn a clone on the gravity inverter so you are facing rightside up. Place a clone on the top left pressure plate and walk the clone going through the columns to the orb. From here, jump and you should have regained two clones. Now, facing right-side up, place a clone on the top right pressure plate and swap to it. From there, swap to the bottom left pressure plate (upside-down) and place a clone on the bottom right pressure plate. Now swap your way to the orb.Now take the long distance teleporter to the control panel that requires 66 orbs to release the second solar panel.Detaching the Third Solar Panel If you've been sticking to this guide you should also have enough to release the third solar panel. Use the long distance teleporter to teleport to the control panel requiring 93 orbs.
