Strength affect how much physical damages the character will do. Each strength point increases the character's maximum power by one (but does not increases its minimum value). Do note that strength increases damages from close and long range weapons alike. Wisdom affect how much magical damages. Speaking of missing quests, I just took the unopened treasure box quest and I remembered that I already bought the 7 tools of the phantom thief at glacier bay, and I used the special effect of it on one of my characters to increase their luck. Is there anyway to get another 7 tools of the phantom thief item? I looked at glacier bay and they're not re-selling it.I did the same thing. Nothing you can do about it except hope that one drops randomly.
I finally got one from a treasure chest much later in the game, when the quest had already disappeared due to plot progress. Sorry if this is the wrong spot for this, but I'm having a heck of a time with the Complete World Treasures quest. It's the only quest left I can do at this point, I've completely mapped the Woods including the little Slumbering Treasure, but no monster appears for me to fight, just random pustules.
I've mapped out all the dungeons that are open to me (with the except of the tomb area in Kasarta desert, dudes in there force me to have sex with them against my will), and none of the three schools have new quests for me to do.I'm stuck.edit: Nevermind!I went back to the office, and apparently I never initiated the conversation with Ms. Nn, or actually I did, but didn't save afterword and got a game over shortly thereafter, and forgot to go through it again, lol. I doubt the game will pull that trick again (not because it would be sadistic, but because it would be boring), but I'm still afraid to go anywhere without stilts in my inventory. Also, I have to ask, Vic, do CoH3 or any of the later titles streamline the crafting system any? Because my one huge complaint about COH2 is this whole arduous process:1. Find an item that can be used to make a cool piece of equipment.2.
Go to the alchemy lab and skim through the list of recipes only to realize I don't have it.3. Go to the shop and buy the recipe.4. Go back to the alchemy lab, find the recipe in the book, and realize I don't have all the items necessary to craft it.5. Go back to the shop and buy the other items.6.
Go back to the alchemy lab and manually enter all of the ingredients to finally make one lousy piece of equipment, which I still have to upgrade.#2 would be an unnecessary step if the shops didn't sell recipes you already have, which are often quite expensive, and it's annoying that the recipe book doesn't have a search feature, can only be looked at in the alchemy lab, and doesn't let you craft directly from it. Memory is still tight (on the PSP and, surprisingly also the PS3 version), but I'll put reducing the steps on your list down as a possible change we can make for CoH3.
Part of the problem (and it's my problem) is I'm not a huge fan of any alchemy systems and just don't use them much in any game. If I used it more as a player, I would probably be more motivated to change it. But I hear what you're saying, and I'll see what I can do. It's just tedious nonsense and just serves as a way to make games more annoying if it's required to advance the storyline. The last thing that I want to do is run around and grind to fetch materials to advance a game. Other than doing it for a few quests for COH2, I ignored it for the rest of the game (partially because it was broken).

Other than doing it for a few quests for COH2, I ignored it for the rest of the game (partially because it was broken).Fortunately, there were only a few that sort of required alchemy, and a alchemy was a shortcut over grinding monster drops to get the high level item you needed. I used it pretty much just for those cases and Wyvern Call Tickets until I could buy unlimited supplies on the other side. Is Class of Heroes 2 really supposed to be this difficult? I kind of like it because the beginning of every RPG is always the hardest part to get through and it reminds me of when I'd blubber/blunder, whichever, through them as I was younger. It took me over four hours to complete the Beginner's Brush. And, with a name or title like that, you'd expect it to be a wee bit easier. Everything's pretty cool so far, though.
I like the beginning characters a lot.:)I honestly thought that the game was too easy. Yeah, it starts out a bit challenging (depends a bit on the party), but by the time you level up in the woods and can have at least two mages that can spam Ragnarok, you've actually got to use some self discipline to try not to abuse it.Less than halfway through the game, I was overpowered. I also didn't even change any classes because I didn't feel that I'd gain a lot.
It's almost as if the game designers expect that you're going to have to deal with the penalties for doing so.That said, I really liked the game. It never felt tedious or boring when I was exploring and grinding, and I was surprised that a story starts to develop by the time you complete several objectives. I hadn't played a real dungeon crawler like this since Wizardry 7 (which means back in the 90s on a 486 DX2 66), and I wasn't sure what I'd think. That list really helped me out.
Roaming those giant dungeons looking for interest points is mind numbing.By the way, I'm curious about something. I've mostly been using a Ninja to unlock all chests, but I've yet to find chests with the Goddess Trial and Fallen Angel traps. What do they do?Fallen Angel is 50/50 Chance of healing all HP/MP or draining all HP/MP to 1Goddess Trial is 50/50 Chance of healing all HP/MP, nothing at all, or you die instantlyThe level of the chest dictates the range of possible traps. Oh, guess I'll shoot some more questions since the man himself is here!First, is there something that affects the 'ambush ratio'? Like, having items, classes or stats that reduce the chances I'm ambushed?Second, what do I miss by making a advanced class from scratch (like going to Panini to create a Dragon Knight right off the bat) instead of reclassing it when I meet the stats (like create a Warrior in Crostini, level it to about 20 and then switch to Dragon Knight in Panini)? Also, does getting a summon knocked out make it weaker when you summon them again later?
I summoned Fenrir once in the Ancient Labyrinth, it had about 700HP, but I forgot to heal it and Giorgio ended up knocking it down. Later on, my summoner got a few extra levels and I summoned it again in the Granite Snowfield. This time it had about 500 HP. I know this topics been dead for a while, and I doubt that many people are playing it, but I wanted to bring up something that happened to me when I was taking the Practical Exam. It might help other people in the future. As is mentioned on the quest list, you have to go to the Ancient Labyrinth: Cause of the Cursed (X:2, Y:6) to fight a boss. The problem is that the boss is surrounded by a Deep-zone and Anti-Magic tiles.
But I was able to fight the boss without having to touch the panels surrounded him. It seems there's a trick (or maybe it's a glitch) with teleporting. What I did was, I stood on the exact same space on a different floor. (X:2, Y:6) on Habitat of the Dark Dragon. Then when I used Teleport I was able to teleport to that exact square on Cause of the Cursed. Which allowed me to fight the boss without having to use Stilts or revive dead party members.I did this in Class of Heroes 2G for the PS3, so I don't know if this trick works for the psp version.
For the Teleport, I used a Fairy Mage Lv. 13, but I don't think that should make a difference. If anyone has any other questions about how I did it I'll answer to the best of my ability.

The first time that room happened to me, I couldn't figure out what had happened (I hadn't discovered stilts in the Japanese version yet). I just attempted the trick again and had some trouble. I was doing the 'Golden Egg of Happiness!' Where you once again had to step over anti-magic + deep zone. I was having trouble using the trick I described earlier, so I tried some other magic first. Magic Map, Levitation, and BrightBall. Then I once again attempted to teleport to a place I hadn't been to yet and was successful.
So the trick isn't 100%, but it looks like it might be able to work if you try some other magic first.October 8th Edit:Little more testing done, and I've a new theory I need to test out about the Teleportation glitch that's in the game. When I try to teleport to a place I haven't been yet, I still face some resistance from the game. I now think that you might need to click on the unmarked part of the map before the map screen is completely undimmed. Still not 100 percent, but I'll play with it a little more and see what I get.October 11th Edit:Alright, I'm just about positive that the method I mentioned before is how this exploit works.
Hopefully players in the future will find this information and it'll help them on their quest, if only a little bit. So I'm trying to do the quest Barbaresco Armory. I get to Yamhath and the second door I come across is locked. There is nowhere else to go in the dungeon.
Not being able to do this would obviously mess up my quest and exploration percentages so any help is welcomed. Heck I actually can't even do anything in the game right now because I've done all the other available quests and the Hostage quest would lock me out of other quests. Is that the one with the pits (red on the maps)? Maybe you need to fall down, then work your way across from there?
It's been a while.I don't remember clearly.
