The surface of Icenaire is cold and unforgiving. Submitted on Review title of AriVahinA much simpler, anime, darkest dungeonthe art style is decent even if the female outfit are a bit incongruous with the tone. The UI quite shocking unfortunately, so much information is not shown to you and it would of only taken a few more tooltips to reach the level of acceptable. Like one of the issues with the UI is you can't see how much health a character has when applying healing items so you have to quit out of that menu open up the character bio menu check the hp and then bring back up the inventory.
It's the same with what moves and status effects do, you hover over an icon and it gives you nothing. The combat animations are also painfully slow with no options to speed them up. The story is ok if plain and lacking depth and the world building is solid. I'd recommend it if you've ever played darkest dungeon and thought 'I like this game but if only it was more anime and not as good'. Submitted on Review title of TudaluWow - A bad Wow.Unskippable cutscenes and pure silence.Absolutely ZERO voice acting. Which in itself isn't that bad, but if i wanted to read a novel's worth of text every 2 minutes, i'd be reading a book. Not playing a game.
Considering i have over 2100 e-books, i don't find reading a bad thing. But when i want to game, i want to game not read streams of lines of text.Pulverised by text, CONSTANTLY that you can't skip unless you spam click your way through it. There's no tool tips on anything showing what anything means so if you forget anything in the time you've been bored to death whilst being forced to read absolutely everything and be bored to death by the endless streams of text anyway when you try to re-read it to find out what icon means what.No thanks.
